BA subject list-Degree
The National University Degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) program offers the following subjects list:
Compulsory Subject for all Courses:
- History of the emergence of independent Bangladesh (1st Year)
- Bengali National Language (2nd Year)
- English (3rd Year)
3 Elective Subjects, with each elective subject consisting of two papers.

- Political Science
- Sociology
- Social Work
- History
- History and Culture of Islam
- Home Economics
- Philosophy
- Geography and Environment
- Islamic Studies
- Psychology
Note: The Degree program includes a total of 7 subjects each year. Every year, students must study:
- 1 Compulsory Subject (single paper)
- 3 Elective Subjects, with each elective subject consisting of two papers.
This structure results in six papers from electives and one from the compulsory subject every year.
